Dr. Patrick Merritt, Hugo Dentist

Dr. Patrick Merritt is a 1995 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and has proudly served the Hugo, Minnesota community for more than 30 years. A longtime resident of the area, Dr. Merritt has been part of the community for over four decades and has spent the past 25 years caring for patients at Hugo Dental Care.

Dr. Merritt maintains active membership in the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the St. Paul District Dental Society. He is committed to lifelong learning and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Known for his approachable and educational style, Dr. Merritt values building strong relationships with his patients. He believes in partnering with individuals and families to improve and maintain their oral health through clear communication and personalized treatment planning. His goal is to ensure every patient feels informed, confident in their treatment options, and comfortable throughout their care experience.

Outside the practice, Dr. Merritt enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three daughters. An avid hiker and cyclist, he can often be found exploring local trails and enjoying the natural beauty of the community. He has also been actively involved in supporting and coaching his daughters in their various sports and activities over the years.
